Direct Relief

Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries. Their mission is to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies—without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. Pelican is proud to have partnered with Direct Relief in September of 2019 with product donations in honor of Disaster Preparedness Month. To learn more, visit directrelief.org.

Operation USA

Pelican is proud to have made several product donations to Operation USA over the years. Most recently, in response to Hurricane Dorian in September of 2019, Pelican supported Operation USA’s relief efforts in The Bahamas. the form of product donation. Operation USA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping communities alleviate the effects of disaster, disease, and endemic poverty throughout the world by providing privately funded relief, reconstruction, humanitarian aid and development aid. Pelican For Patriots

Pelican for Patriots

The Pelican for Patriots program offers a complimentary Protector Case to the men and women who served in the United States, Canadian, Australian or British military in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) or Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and sacrificed a limb while protecting the freedoms we hold dear. Excelling in environments ranging from the battlefield to the job site, the Pelican Protector Case is designed to protect and transport valuable prosthetics. It serves as a small gesture of Pelican’s tremendous gratitude and deepest respect.

Navy Seal Foundation

Pelican is proud to be a sponsor of the Navy SEAL Foundation’s Gala annual benefit. The Foundation’s mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support to the Naval Special Warfare community and its families. Since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the demand for Special Operations Forces has exploded. Velindre Cancer Centre

In 2012, Pelican Products sponsored the Captains California Bike Ride and now in 2018 they’ve signed on to sponsor the upcoming Velindre Cancer Centre’s West Coast 600km Bike Ride. This year’s challenge will take participants along the scenic California Coast – San Francisco to Los Angeles. All proceeds support the important work that the Velindre Cancer Center (Whitchurch, Cardiff, Wales) does, touching lives across the globe. Richstone Family Center

Pelican has participated in Richstone Family Center’s Christmastime gift giving activities for adopted families and also monetarily supported their Transitional Housing Program for young women just out of foster care. They are dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse and trauma; strengthening and educating families; and decreasing violence in families, schools and communities. National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

The 2016 and 2017 Pelican Products 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb honored and remembered the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-01. Each participant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. The company also supports the annual FDIC (Fire Department Instructors Conference) stair climb. The events benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

MC-LEF Scholarship

Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation

Pelican annually supports the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation with donations toward their mission of establishing $30,000 scholarship accounts for every child who loses a parent serving in the United State Marine Corps or any Federal Law Enforcement Agency. World Blood Donor Day Blood Drive

World Blood Donor Day

June 11, 2018 kicked off the Pelican Products third annual blood drive events at their office locations across the United States and Canada. The multi-day community service event saves hundreds of lives and represents important aspects of Pelican Products beliefs and mission.

Adopt-A-Family

Pelican Products’ South Deerfield location partnered with Westover Air Force Base in their Adopt-A-Family program in 2017. This partnership underscores Pelican’s commitment to giving back to our community and helping families in need. Pelican was happy to donate nearly 100 gifts and additional funds to purchase more gifts; plus collecting mittens, hats and scarves for the kids for winter. Invictus Games

Pelican was proud to support the athletes that competed in the 2014 and 2016 Invictus Games. This event is a premiere international adaptive multi-sport event, created by Prince Harry, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and indoor rowing. Adopt-A-School

Adopt-A-School Program

Pelican has teamed up with Anza Elementary School (Torrance, CA) as part of the local Adopt-A-School Program. The company supports by donating employee hours toward a wide variety of school activities ranging from judging science fairs to providing student career guidance and educational events.

Anza Elementary’s mission is to educate the whole child and to provide a balanced instructional program driven by student needs and abilities. Their staff is committed to creating an optimal environment that addresses the academic, emotional, social, and physical needs of each child. Mt. Killimanjaro Climb

Mt. Kilimanjaro Climb

Pelican Products was proud to support disabled Navy SEAL Veteran Carlos Moleda as he climbed Africa’s Mt. Kilimanjaro to benefit the Himalayan Cataract Project (HCP). This amazing organization works to eradicate preventable and curable blindness in the developing world. It also funds and facilitates education, training, and equipment for local eye-care professionals across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Surfrider Foundation Beach Cleanup

In 2018, Pelican partnered with the South Bay Chapter of Surfrider Foundation, a grassroots non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves and beaches. Pelican employees, family and friends joined the foundation at the beach to help reduce litter and raise awareness about waste and plastic pollution.
