Pelican and Land Rover Team Up to Honor Search, Rescue & Emergency Support Services Pros

Pelican Products, Inc., the global leader in rugged, missioncritical protective cases, coolers, and lights, is proud to announce the sponsorship of Land Rover’s Defender Service Awards category for Search, Rescue & Emergency Support Services. Nominees for the Search, Rescue & Emergency Support Services Award include remote area search/rescue, natural disaster support, fire/wildfire support, and EMS teams.

“Our brave search, rescue, and emergency support teams risk their lives to bring people in distress safely home to their loved ones,” said Monica Rigali, SVP of Product and Marketing at Pelican Products. “Pelican is proud to aid their mission by supplying the world’s most rugged and durable hard cases to those on the front lines of rescue.”

As the category sponsor, Pelican will provide a charitable donation and products to aid the winner of the Search, Rescue & Emergency Support Services category. Land Rover will award the winner with a custom Land Rover Defender 130 vehicle.

The Defender Service Awards recognize American, Puerto Rican, and Canadian charitable organizations that are making a positive impact on their local communities in a total of six categories.

Entrants can nominate an organization or themselves by filling out an entry form and submitting a video explaining their mission, how they impact the community, and how a new Defender will support their work. Submissions will be accepted June 15, 2023, through July 21, 2023. A panel of qualified judges will select five finalists for each category. The winning finalist will be selected via public vote in September.
