Micah Weber

Photographer

Micah Weber is a professional photographer and avid outdoorsmen. Having moved nearly 30 times in 30 years, being on the go is a natural state of mind. Currently located in the central coast of California, Micah has access to the ocean, mountains and desert, all within a few hours - making it the perfect spot to strike out on adventure.

If he’s not on a trip or spending time outside with his beautiful wife and two kids, you can find him in the garage welding, cutting, modifying and generally making a giant mess. Micah’s photographs have appeared on everything from magazine covers, city buses to billboards, and even annoying junk mail.

Describe your best moment ever.

Becoming a father has to rank as one of the most incrediblemoments of my life.

How did you get into your profession?

My grandfather gifted the family a cheap mini dv camcorder thatalso had a photo mode. After seeing some of my photos with this, he gave me my first digital camera at the age of 17 and ive beenshooting ever since.

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?

“Think of others before yourself”

What are your top three Pelican products?

I love all my pelican cases so it's hard to pick my favorites but here we go.

1# has to be my first case. A 1510 roller case that was the backbone of 7 years of travel photography and 100s of airline flights. This case allowed me to pack my kit as a carry on and never have to worry about. When you truly put a product to the test and it lasts, there is something of special bond that's hard to describe. I plan to keep this case forever.

2# This would have to be the 1600 series cases. I currently have4 of these large cases with the lid organizers and use them for avariety of things on my adventure built truck. The large capacity but relatively slim height make for a super useful exterior and interior storage on my truck. The faded orange color, and white spray painted stencil only make me love them more.

3# R60 personal ruck case. I've found this to be the perfect fit formy Gopro, extra batteries, charger and mini tripod. I've added some pick and pluck foam from another case and this makes for super safe, secure and quick storage for me. Having everything I need for the gopro in one box has been awesome. I know if I toss
