Published October 5, 2009
Torrance, CA -
To protect, secure and transport the latest sensitive rack mounted electronics (Up to 33”), Pelican-Hardigg has introduced the Pelican-Hardigg Classic Rack with a 33” Frame.
The Classic Rack features dual-lids to allow easy access to internally mounted equipment. Optional 5” deep lids provide enough space for optional, removable bottom casters as well as cords that can be coiled and stay connected to stored units.
Features include internal rack mount frames with a 2-inch sway clearance secured with a minimum of eight diagonal, vibration dampening, shock mounts. Standard internal frames are available in both Imperial (EIA 10-32) and Metric hole patterns. Also available are square-hole adapters that allow for use with a wide variety equipment/servers without the need to create custom brackets and mounting rails.
With five sizes (3U to 9U) to choose from, the cases are rotationally molded and feature reinforced corners for enhanced impact protection. Additional transport friendly features include molded-in ribs for maximum stacking strength; anti-shear locks to reduce hardware stress and rugged quarter turn latches that work with gaskets to ensure a water/dust resistant seal and a secure lid.
These cases are fully customizable to fit almost any specifications and job requirements and offer a wide variety of hardware and internal component options. These new 33” Classic Racks come in 14 different colors.
