Pelican has an immediate opening for a National Sales Manager who will have the responsibility for growing sales and new business throughout Australia. Heavy emphasis will be placed on developing and managing an aggressive sales team, strategic sales plans, promotional campaigns, pricing strategies and distribution channels. Participation in trade shows, educational programs, and sales training is required. Successful candidates must demonstrate success in growing sales profitability, growing business with existing customer base and finding/developing new customers & channels, as well as possess excellent communication, sales and channel management, presentation and negotiation skills Must have degree in relevant field and 3+ years professional sales management experience, preferably in the industrial safety and government markets. Proficiency required in Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
